I’ve 3 Wins To Share

I have a few wins occurring in the background while I also wrote the “I am anxious” letter/blog to you last week. Please bear with me.

MY WINS

I have three wins and a lesson to share:

Win 1

I received an email from a multinational company seeking videography and photography services. They found me organically, which is a win since my website investment paid off without the need for Google ads. To keep it brief, I sent them a quote that is four times the monthly salary I last earned as a software architect. After deducting costs, it will provide me with a month’s salary of a software architect. The entire shoot lasts only three days. I will let you know if they accept the quote; if it’s meant for me, it will come to me.

Win 2

I was approached by an overseas client who seemed legitimate. However, despite the good money involved, I refused the project due to his unprofessional and unethical behavior.

Win 3

I uploaded my new landscape photography masterclass on Udemy instead of my website. So far, I have 15 paying students on it, most of them bought it on sale, not a lot of money, but an encouraging amount. While it's a small amount, it's a big win, and I'm taking steps with my website team to boost traffic. I will soon shut down my beginner photography course on my website to save costs, but my beginner photography masterclass is now also available on Udemy. Through traffic-growing tactics, I am hoping to increase my passive income. I have a street photography course, a night photography course, and an editing course using Adobe Lightroom that is already in progress.

Lesson: Today marks exactly nine months since my last day in the corporate world. While I am still trying to figure it all out, every step taken has brought me something, if not monetary, then fulfillment. “You either win or you learn, " to quote a friend. Feeling anxious or nervous is okay; let those emotions take their natural course, but give it your best. It’s only a matter of time before the snowball gets bigger. But for it to grow, keep rolling it, even if it's just a little every day!

Quote of the Day: “Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.” ~ Vince Lombardi

Video of the week: How to Build a Successful Life in Your 20s That Lasts Into Your 40s. I recently made this video. If you agree with the content, pass it on to your youth; it might help someone.

Kind regards
