My appeal: I am reaching out today with a request for your support for those in need. Every contribution, no matter how small - whether it’s a few Dollars, Rands, Euros, or Rupiyahs - can make a massive difference in the lives of many. Your compassion and generosity can help bring hope and relief to our fellow humans. Please forward this email to as many people as possible.
In Ankilivalo village, people have to take loans to buy Paracetamol.
What is it for: Your generous donations will play a vital role in providing essential medicines, supporting ongoing maintenance, and supplying the necessary hospital resources for the rural village of Ankilivalo in Madagascar. At the end of this email, you'll find several links to heartwarming behind-the-scenes footage that showcases the efforts already made by my close friend Kamran. He has been unwavering in his efforts to rebuild and nurture a rural hospital in Ankilivalo, one of the world's most underprivileged areas. Kamran is not just a passionate cyclist with over 200,000 followers on social media; he is a beacon of hope, pouring his heart and soul into this transformative cause.
The issue: In the heart of Ankilivalo village and throughout Madagascar, the weight of poverty is deeply felt, transforming what many consider necessities into distant dreams. From the poignant images I’ve seen on Kamran’s Instagram, it's clear that for countless individuals, the fight for survival is an everyday struggle, further complicated by a lack of economic opportunities. Healthcare facilities may be far off, under-resourced, or prohibitively expensive, leaving villagers with heart-wrenching choices between putting food on the table and obtaining essential medicine.
Who is Kamran, and why is Muji involved?
Kamran Ali, known as Kamran on Bike, has travelled across multiple continents on his cycle. We became friends in South Africa while he was travelling in Africa. Over the weeks we spent together, we grew close and deepened our friendship. Inspired by his story and my previous relief work (which is how I met my wife), I am heading to Madagascar on the 14th to assist him in supporting the community. I’ll cover my own expenses, but I need your help.
How can you help by donating?
Your generous donations will be used directly to purchase essential medicines, hospital supplies, and to support the hospital's operations. Every contribution can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. I will keep you posted while I am there, and be accountable for spending your money. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
South African friends and family: Please reply to this email, and I will send you my bank account details for an EFT. Alternatively, you can make a payment using the link below.
